East to West World Music ft. Jimmi Hendrix
with Eitan Battat (S4 | E163)
Opening Music: MFSB (as always), the signature sound of East to West.
WERB 107.5 music to chill and vibe with.
Welcome, my dear listeners around the United States and across the world. You’re on a special program of East to West, and this is Eitan Battat.
Hello, my friends and family, happy to say that we are going to be celebrating somewhat the anniversary, the birthday of WERB. It’s also the 3rd anniversary of East to West and I thought initially that I will bring the best of the best of East to West on this anniversary program. But then again, when I start compiling the best songs of East to West, I ended up with over 100 songs and that was not practical for two hours program.
It’s been quite a ride over the past three years as you will be able to tell from the stories I’m going to tell you about how we started and also I’m going to bring you some voices that supported PJ and myself to get to where we are today. PJ, my partner, and myself had to use a lot of creativity, focus, effort. That and a lot a lot of passion. After all, this radio station is truly just a passion project. It was not made for profit. It was not made to capture audience, to be an influencer, to be a political platform or otherwise. You’re just a huge, huge sandbox to play. It just grew and grew, and now it has a life of its own. I want to thank all of our hosts of our programming, of course, PJ and my partner for incredible, incredible show. Lester the Nightfly, you should all listen to that. Purple for her flashback 80s, Yarel Marshall for Canciones de la Maestra and of course, Steve James, Blues Cafe, Adagio radio with true darling all things next with Chris Bro, as well as the perfect beat with Mr. DJ Irving C from Belgium, and Afrosonic Taxi with DJ-K. Check out our website for everything that we have to offer and stay tuned for some more.
Meanwhile I got a lot of music for you. New stuff, old stuff, the regular stuff; all on East to West. Stay with me for the next two hours.
