Welcome to our listeners globally and Coast to Coast in the US. You are at the right URL WERB radio.com, at the right time. And you are on another program of East to West, and this is Eitan Battat.
Well, here we are, the beginning of spring, the season have just changed. We are well into the spring, but it doesn’t feel like spring, but the season has change. Here in the northeast, we experience change of season 4 times a year, and I really don’t know why people have so much a hard time, with change.
We seem that we, people crawling backwards into our own comfort zone. The comfort zone, that it what we are accustomed to, that is where it is safe and familiar, whether it’s at our personal life or at work. To be totally open, I don’t like change either, but I realized that in order to survive in business, in relationship, I must – must, must – embrace change and be adaptable. Yes indeed, ability to change and adapt is a survival instinct. Every crisis I have encountered in my business career (and believe me, I have plenty) I have to face change and welcome it. I have to adapt to the change where I no longer were able to broadcast on an FM station in Ashland North Carolina. That was a big change, but it’s created this radio station and this program with so many listeners. If you go back and listen to some old episodes of East to West, you will realize how they change over the months and years. The style, the tonality, the music, the variety, all has change. And now as I close almost 3 years of East to West programming, I can tell you for sure, that the style, the tonality, the format will keep on changing. So, enough said on that.
So, what’s coming up on East to West today? New stuff by an old female mariachi band, and a talk with my friend Urell. Some thoughts on vulnerability, classic RnB, old stuff, and some new stuff. 2 hours full of soothing, relaxing, vibey music. Stay with me.
