East to West World Music
with Eitan Battat (S4 | E154)
Opening Music: MFSB (as always), the signature sound of East to West.
Intro | A Blank Canvas
“It never cease to amaze me how a program of Stitz comes to being. Every week I start with a blank canvas. There’s nothing on it and throughout the week I collect the music. Or the colors. I Shazam, and SoundHound every song that I hear fit into my program. I hear the songs on TV shows, on movies, and world radio stations. On Sunday, usually the afternoon evening, I explore all my catches for the week. Sometimes I catch 10-15 different songs and that’s a good week. Sometimes it’s only 3-5. Either way, I listen to them again, hear if I like them and if they fit to my program. It’s a process I enjoy and cherish.
One of the best part is to find a song or a piece of music that I know for certain fits the taste of my audience and the vibe of the program.“
