Eitan Battat East to West (S4 | E152)
World Music
Opening Music: MFSB (as always), the signature sound of East to West.
Intro:
“I must be totally honest with you …
The slow movement doesn’t work well for me. I can slow down periodically, but not consistently. I fall into that trap of Quick call. Quick meeting. Quick question. And frankly, what’s up with that quick question. I have yet to find a real quick question. And if there was a quick question, nobody ever phrased it can I ask you a quick question. It’s more like should I turn left or right? Take a left. That’s a quick question. All the quick questions I have experienced, were not quick. In fact, they were quite complex and involved, and requiring a set of other questions by all parties. I got to get off of that dialogue. Please don’t ask me the quick question, nor ask me if I got a minute because a minute always drags for five and 10 and sometime an hour.
Hell, I’m trying to slow down and I’m not up for those quick quick calls quick meetings. This upcoming program of East west will certainly slow you down. I will not ask you a quick question or ask you if you have a minute or two.
I’m just gonna ask you to relax sit back and enjoy the journey from East to West this time really slowly.”
